My husband, Peter, and I were married in 2006 in Rochester with many Mercy friends present. I completed three years on the alumnae board in May before moving to Raleigh, NC. This July we welcomed our daughter Madeline while we were living in NC. We are now in Melbourne, FL for my husband's job and looking forward to the next step of our adventure. (9/07)

Big news in my life! On February 1, 2007 my husband and I had our first child, a baby boy named Francesco Leonello Casilio (we call him Frankie for short). That's what keeps me busy these days. I left my full time position to stay home with my son. I do go back a couple times a week, and bring Frankie with me, to have some adult interaction! We still live in Austin with our boxer, Daisy, and our cat, Phoebe, but will be relocating to Toronto some time after the first of the year. I am very excited to be so much closer to home, though I will really miss Austin. I am glad to see that everyone is doing so well, and wish everyone the best. (9/07)

It is so nice to read the posts about how everyone is doing. I have not updated in quite awhile and have some updates myself. I moved to Washington, DC in 2000 upon graduating from SUNY Albany with a Poly Science degree. A few years after working in politics and law I switched carers and started back to school and got my masters in elementary education (Marymount University 2004). I will be starting my 4th year in teaching in September. I teach 5th grade but have started a new career path in 5th grade gifted and talented. I got engaged to Phil Baker on April 10, 2007 and we are planning a July 29, 2008 wedding. I hope that you are all doing well. (7/07)

Hey everybody, this is my first time writing in to this. It's nice to see my former classmates are doing so well! As for me, I own a home in Webster NY, where I live with my girlfriend and several pets. I was a Corrections Officer for the Sheriff's Dept. from 1999-2003. I was hired by the Rochester Police Dept. as a Police Officer in March of 2003, fulfilling a dream I have had since grammar school. It's not the easiest work, and I was injured badly on the job 2 years ago by a drunk driver. I received many get well wishes, some from Mercy Alumnae and staff...Thank you for that. It has aided in my extremely long recovery process! I still talk to almost all of my friends from high school, and I would love to hear from anybody. Best wishes to you all. (03/07)
